AI Software Engineer - Santa Rosa, CA

MissionHires is seeking an AI Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-driven solutions for our recruitment platform. The ideal candidate will have experience in full-stack development, artificial intelligence, and cloud technologies, and will be passionate about building scalable products that drive social impact.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python
• Experience with modern frameworks and libraries including Next.js, React, Node.js, and Express
• Expertise in integrating AI and machine learning APIs (e.g., OpenAI, LLMs) and natural language processing
• Strong understanding of database technologies such as MongoDB and PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Vercel, AWS) and DevOps tools (Docker, Git)
• Ability to design and implement REST APIs and scalable web applications
• Experience with Agile methodologies and test-driven development
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills

• Lead the development of AI-powered recruitment tools, including candidate sourcing, screening, and evaluation modules
• Integrate OpenAI and other LLM APIs to automate candidate ranking and video interview analysis
• Build and maintain scalable web applications using Next.js, Vercel, and MongoDB
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features aligned with client needs
• Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and real-time features
• Enhance system reliability and scalability through cloud deployment and CI/CD pipelines
• Provide technical support and author technical documentation as needed
• Stay current with advancements in AI, machine learning, and software engineering best practices
