AI Software Engineer - Santa Rosa, CA

MissionHires is seeking an experienced AI Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-driven applications that transform the recruitment process for small businesses, nonprofits, and startups. You will work with cutting-edge technologies to build scalable web platforms, integrate advanced AI/ML models, and deliver impactful solutions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Typescript, JavaScript, and Python
• Experience with web frameworks and libraries including Next.js, React, Node.js, and Express
• Expertise in AI/ML technologies, including OpenAI API, GPT-4, and LangChain
• Strong knowledge of database systems such as MongoDB and PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and DevOps tools (Vercel, AWS, Docker, Git, CI/CD)
• Ability to design and consume REST APIs
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and technical documentation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Develop and maintain AI-powered recruitment tools, including candidate sourcing, screening, and evaluation modules
• Integrate OpenAI and custom machine learning models into web applications
• Build and optimize scalable web applications using Next.js, Typescript, and Vercel
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and improvements
• Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices
• Enhance user interfaces and data management systems
• Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and technical planning
• Create and maintain technical documentation for internal and external stakeholders
