EduBridge Innovations is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic financial insights to support our mission of revolutionizing education through technology.

How You'll Contribute

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
  • Coordinate and complete annual audits
  • Provide recommendations for improving financial processes
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA or CMA certification preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Experience with creating financial statements
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
  • Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
  • Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
