CT Technologist - Apple Valley, California

We are seeking a skilled and patientfocused CT Technologist to join a dynamic imaging team in Southern California. You will perform a wide variety of adult and pediatric computed tomography procedures, work closely with radiologists and technologists, and deliver highquality diagnostic images while ensuring excellent patient care.

• Operate CT scanners and related equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures according to departmental protocols and agespecific criteria.
• Prepare and position patients, explain procedures and answer questions to ensure their comfort and understanding.
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists and department leadership to ensure images meet required diagnostic standards.
• Participate in quality control, performance improvement and other departmental initiatives.
• Serve as a clinical and technical resource for other technologists, providing support, guidance and mentoring when needed.
• Participate in the call/shift schedule and remain flexible to meet departmental staffing needs.

Required:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• California Radiologic Technologist license (upon hire).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (upon hire).
• Registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography (upon hire).
• Within one year of hire: ARRT postprimary certification in Computed Tomography (CT).
