Cashea is seeking a mission-driven Head of HR to build and scale our people function as we bring optimism back to Venezuelans through innovative financial products. You will own the full People strategy—talent acquisition, culture, total rewards, performance, learning, and compliance—while partnering with founders and leaders to support a rapidly growing fintech serving 7M+ customers. Design and execute a comprehensive People strategy aligned with Cashea’s mission, values, and business goals
Build and lead all HR centers of excellence: Talent Acquisition, People Operations, Performance & Development, Total Rewards, and Employee Relations
Establish scalable HR processes, policies, and systems (ATS/HRIS/payroll/benefits), ensuring compliance across Venezuela and US jurisdictions
Develop and manage workforce planning, headcount budgeting, and org design in partnership with Finance and Leadership
Own the full talent lifecycle: employer branding, recruiting, onboarding, engagement, retention, and offboarding
Implement performance management, goal-setting (OKRs), succession planning, and leadership development frameworks
Create learning and development programs to upskill managers and teams in a fast-paced fintech environment
Design competitive, equitable compensation and benefits strategies; lead benchmarking and compensation cycles
Foster a culture of transparency, inclusion, and impact; drive employee listening (eNPS, pulse surveys) and action plans
Oversee employee relations with fairness and rigor; mitigate risk and ensure compliant, values-aligned practices
Track and report People analytics (hiring velocity, quality of hire, retention, diversity, engagement) to inform decisions
Serve as a trusted advisor to executives and managers on organizational health, change management, and coaching
Own HR vendor management and negotiate contracts for tools and services
7+ years of progressive HR experience with 3+ years leading the People function (Head of HR/Director) in a high-growth startup or tech company
Proven experience building HR infrastructure from 0→1→scale, including recruiting, performance, and total rewards
Fluency in Spanish and professional proficiency in English; comfortable operating across Venezuela and US contexts
Strong knowledge of HR compliance, labor practices, and policies relevant to LATAM (Venezuela) and familiarity with US practices
Track record driving measurable outcomes in hiring, engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness
Hands-on operator with strategic capability; comfortable switching between execution and executive-level planning
Expertise with HRIS/ATS/payroll systems and People analytics; data-driven decision-making
Experience designing compensation frameworks, leveling, and conducting market benchmarking
Demonstrated ability to coach executives and managers; strong facilitation and change management skills
High integrity and discretion; commitment to transparency, inclusion, and impact
Fintech or financial services experience is a plus
Ability to work Miami-based hours and collaborate with distributed teams; occasional travel as needed
