Why This Role Matters

Netflix is seeking a Product Manager for Content Intelligence & Acquisition to join our Content and Business Product organization. This role involves building solutions that empower our content executives and deal negotiators to acquire and develop stories that delight our members. The position can be based in Los Gatos or Los Angeles in a hybrid model, or remote-based in the US, with travel to Los Angeles required 1-2 times per month.

How You'll Contribute

Develop and implement product strategies that align with Netflix's content acquisition goals. Collaborate with content executives and deal negotiators to understand their needs and translate them into product requirements. Work closely with product development teams to build and enhance tools that support content acquisition and development. Utilize strong product principles and strategic frameworks to guide product development. Empathize with the creative process and the art of storytelling to ensure product solutions support the creation of great content. Analyze market trends and user feedback to continuously improve product offerings. Ensure seamless communication and collaboration between end users and product development teams.

What Makes You a Great Fit

Proven experience as a Product Manager, preferably in the entertainment or technology industry. Strong understanding of product principles and strategic frameworks. Ability to empathize with creative professionals and understand the content creation process. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to travel to Los Angeles 1-2 times per month. Experience in building and enhancing tools for content acquisition and development is a plus. Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decision-making.

Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $120,000 - $515,000. Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
